We believe that society must work to address many issues such as climate change, human rights, poverty, and diversity if it is to be sustainable.
The Sustainability Committee, which we launched in May 2021 as a consulting body for the Management Conference, is chaired by the Officer in charge of Sustainability Promotion and is composed of the general managers of the Sales and Corporate Divisions.
In addition, in April 2022 we established a new Corporate Sustainability Department to increase the effectiveness of our sustainability management. It is responsible for making plans based on the policies defined by the Sustainability Committee and then implementing, evaluating, and improving these plans. The Corporate Sustainability Department carries out initiatives and concrete activities for further establishing sustainability management within the Group.
